About the Program Committee
Our program committee take responsibility for planning and shaping the program of Flink Forward. They make sure to rate talks in different dimensions to create a balanced program including deeply technical talks and high-level use cases. Diversity is also a crucial aspect for the program committee - they strive to improve and support the presence of underrepresented groups at the conference.

His engineering philosophy emphasizes simplifying complex business challenges using cloud-native principles such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Data as a Service (DaaS), and event-driven architecture. He is a strong proponent of open-source technologies, working extensively with tools like Apache Flink, Kafka, Airflow, and more. He is also currently spearheading the cloud migration of GoTo’s data engineering platform, with a focus on building scalable, resilient, cost-efficient, and observable infrastructure.

Becket is currently a Principal Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn, driving the effort of stream and batch unification. Before that, he led the Alibaba Flink team focusing on Flink SQL, PyFlink, Flink ML, Connectors, among others. Prior to Alibaba, Becket worked at LinkedIn on building streams infrastructures around Apache Kafka. Becket is a PMC member of Apache Flink and Apache Kafka.
